Malbec is without any doubt the flagship wine that represents Argentina. Original from Cahors, in South West France, it was introduced in our region by professor Michel Aimeé Pouget in the mid-19th century. Due to the perfect adaptation to our terroir, it soon became the most planted variety. Even nowadays, it is the most widely planted red grape in Mendoza. Some vineyards were planted more than 100 year ago! We invite wine lovers to discover some of the best Malbecs produced in Argentina.
